Hi Ladies I am back from Boston, which today means a little bit more. It is with a pretty heavy heart that I start this blog post today. As you all know I was in Boston over the past week at a Coffee Show for work and I instantly fell head over heels in love with that city. The people, the sites, and the feeling was amazing. I found myself saying multiple time that I would move there in a heartbeat.

 

So with that being said, I was heartbroken when the news of the bombings at the Boston Marathon came through yesterday. That city was made for Marathon Monday, as so many Bostonians refer to it. And they were so excited. The shops were ready, the people were prepped, and the runner were everywhere. And then this.. It hurts my heart. While the tragedy of the bombings is so prevalent we need not to forget the heroic acts of the first responders, by standers, and even marathon finishers who helped the victims. Those people were amazing. So today, everyone should say a prayer for the people of Boston and all the people affected by this tragedy. Hug your family a little tighter, do something nice, and always remember that life is precious and to not take the small things for granted.

Leaving on a jet plane...

Today is my Friday at work, well in the office, since I will technically be working all weekend... but I don't care because I will be in BOSTON!!!!

I cannot wait, I am heading there for the SCAA 2013 Show for work and I could not be more excited. I have always wanted to go and since work is footing the bill, that makes it even better :)

I want to visit all the crazy historical places, I am a huge history dork.. and proud. And shop on Newbury Street and see the harbor and all that stuff.

Besties, Birthdays, and Big Awards.. Oh my!

HAPPY OPENING DAY GIRLS!

Today the Cubbies are back in Wrigleyville taking on the Brewers and even though it is cold (46) & rainy, this really means summer is coming. Also, since I work in Wisconsin, I will spend most of the day talking smack with my co-workers, who are all Brewers fans... at least it will make work interesting!

This past weekend was very full of birthday celebrations and good times. I love weekends like this.

 

Friday morning I was beyond exhausted thanks to work so I spent my evening with Chicago Fire, Grey's Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory, and Nashville. I need to catch up on them and they are all so damn good.

 

Saturday I got a run in, ran some errands for Boston (T-minus 2 days til I leave!), and cleaned my car, then it was time to celebrate my Lo's Bday. Dinner at Chipolte, because we are fancy, and then drinks, games, and gossip with my favs.

Sunday was a glorious springy day. High 60's sunshine and I got to wear my adorable keds so I was set. 

 

I grocery shopped, ran more errands, and settled in for my favorite night of the year... ACM's. I will be back tomorrow for a full review, but I will leave you with this.. because, Hello!

So happy for Luke and his tears were so real. He was genuinely grateful and that is why I love him.

High Five For Friday.

StruggleBus

Ladies, today I am riding the struggle bus. Not the usual one that happens after a all night drinking extravaganza but the exhausted, emotionally drained, want to sleep all day bus. Rambling in 3...2..1:

Last night I had one of those dreams that felt so real it hurt. And the people in my dream were people no longer in my life (thank goodness) but still shit in the dream upsets me and that starts your day off so terrible.

Seriously, I am being a total baby today. I could not for the life of me get out of bed and snoozed for a good 35 minutes, which is 4 snooze alarms...fail.

Then my eyes were killing me.. allergies already? They are all pink and itchy so I had to put on glasses and let me tell you trying to put on make up with no contacts... difficult.

Moving right along on my #firstworldproblems, I got to work (which has been cray lately) and I think every single person annoyed me this morning. I was just really frustrated and stressed, plus having me work on something and then completely undoing it, its freaking annoying.

Thank god it is 55 degrees and sunny out today. While running errands on my lunch I opened the windows and rocked out to my new favorite songs... Summer Jams

On a much happier note... Today is Kalen's Birthday.... HAPPY BDAY GIRL!!!!!

AND... We found out we were approved for our sweet new condo.. moving in 3 weeks from tomorrow and I could not be any more excited.

New Apartment Wish List

Hey Y'all. I wish I was southern and that sounded all adorbale and cute, but I am from IL and it's probably just awkward but oh well. I can dream ;)

Some very exciting news coming up in April is that I am moving!!! I am so super excited, mainly because the place is beautiful and I get to move in with my favie Kalen and have tons of good times and wine. Because... we.love.wine.

Anyways, while moving is crazy expensive and I should be saving money, I think it is more fun to dream about the amazeballs things I want for my place.. So here are a few of the beauties that will hopefully be chilling in my new APT with me ...
