Just popping in real quick to share my excitment on the news of the Royal Baby!!! Kate and Wills welcomed a son yesterday...

Prince of Cambridge (Not named yet) was born!!!

And then .. they debuted thier adorbale Prince today when they left the hospital. Adorable!!!!

And Kate... Looked amazing.

I am so obsessed with the Royals. Love it, finally fun to watch the news for some happy stuff instead of the usual.

.weekend shenanigans.

Mondays are usually terrible and I hate them but today is not as bad for 2 reasons...

 

1. It's Lauren's Wedding Week <3

2. I only have to work until Wednesday!!! -thank you said wedding week.

So let's get right into it with Sami for ...

 

 

 

Saturday I stopped at SBUX and the Barista made me a twist on my usual.. this is a Passion Fruit Shaken Ice Tea Lemonade w/ peach & fresh orange slice. AMAZEBALLS.

 

We celebrated Kailee's 8th grade Graduation & Madi's Birthday with family on Saturday night -they are getting so old :(

 

Sunday - Kalen and I decided to be nature girls and go hiking. We lasted about 40 minutes and have about a bazillion mosquito bites to bring home with us. At least it was pretty in the park.

 

After our failed hike - we decided a pool day was more our thing, complete with drinks :)

Finished the day off with 9 holes of golf. Not our best golf game but I still had a decent hit or 2.

Also.. the best news that woke me up this morning....

 

KATE went into LABOR this morning!! Royal Baby is on it's way

 

 

I cannot wait to find out the gender :)

1. What is your favorite TV as a kid? 

Full House... 100%. I use to call it "The Michelle Show", I wanted my whole family to move into a house and live happily ever after with a dog named Comet. Oh and own The Smash Club. It didn't happen but I still enjoy reruns on Nick @ Night every day=y. #ImOld

2. What is your current favorite TV show? 

Well, I have about a million. With it being summer, I am all about Reality TV. Real Housewives of OC, Real Housewives of NJ, Guiliana & Bill and of course Here Comes Honey Boo #ImClassy.. But, I would have to say my fav is The Bachlorette. Come on Des, get a good one :)

3. Which reality show would you NEVER do? 

Survivor. I went 'hiking' today and after 30 minutes and 7 mosquito bites I was done. I would never survive. I would want to get voted off the island ASAP.

4. Which reality show would you LOVE to do? 

Real Housewives of ______. I want to go on ridiculous trips and make tons of money while being filmed with my "friends". Maybe I can even get a spin off ;)

5. What is the TV personality/character that you feel is most like you? 

Guiliana, she is funny, adorable, and has a hottie husband. Ok, well everything except the hubby, she is super inspirational and I love watching her shows. Okay, maybe she isn't like me, but I wanna be like her. #girlcrush

6. Which TV character would you want to date? 

Lt. Casey from Chicago Fire. Hottie + Firefighter = THE DREAM. Love him.

Grey Shirt, but I mean Blue shirt works too.

So this was officially the longest week ever. I haven't worked an official 5 day week in over a month.. a month!!! And it was a beautiful thing.. but now this week dragged. Thank goodness next week is a short one.. I have Thursday and Friday off because my bestie is getting married. CANNNOT. WAIT.

Bachlorette Weekend Shenanigans

Girls.. Can I just say that as much as I love Weddings, I may love Bachlorette parties just as much. I have been to a few but this past weekend my bestie had hers and it was just about the best GNO ever!

Let's start with Friday night. My adorable cousin Hannah came into town and we hung out all night. I haven't seen her since she was 3 and OMG she is hilarious. She is honestly 7 going on 30 and has the best British accent impersonation I have ever heard. She also knows ever single 1D song ever.. believe me, we tested her. Her and I had dinner and then went to SummerFest in my neighborhood, we rode rides, played games, and ate fro yo! Fastest $60 I have ever spent but so worth it.

Charlie the Camel, I skipped this activity, but Hannah loved it.

Those 2 tiny prizes cost me $30 but she had fun, so it's all good!

 

Now, the Bachlorette Party....

We planned the night through VIP Bachlorette Chicago and they did not disappoint, you can check them out here :) For reals, they planned the whole night, the bars, the show, and even provided transportation on a big ole party bus! It was too fun!!

We started the night at Christina's beautiful condo, had some wine, some pizza, and gave the bride-to-be all her presents.

Wine, Snacks, and Presents. 

Then we headed to Entourage for the PreParty which was some drinks, some shots, and a photo shoot. It was so fun, plus we were clubbing at 6pm which made things a little interesting.

We hopped on Bus 2 and headed to Naughty Cabaret... I call it a classy version of Magic Mike.. it was too fun. All you can drink for $20 and then the show started. We had such a good time, I cannot say that enough. As long as the bride was happy that's all that mattered.

The rest of the night went like this.... Y Bar, Entourage, drinks, dancing, and then we went home. There are def a few hazy spots in the night but we all had such a blast. Pictures, from my iPhone below... I need to get a real camera.. Like Now.

Woke up with 3 wristbands and glowsticks on my arm.. that means we had a blast.

 

I cannot believe Lauren & Stephen are getting married in less than 2 weeks!!!!! EKKK!! I am so pumped for all the wedding fun that is coming up and for these little love birds to tie the knot <3

Currently I Am....

1. Planning the ultimate 1st Sunday of Football party with lil miss Kalen/Roomie , yea we understand football is over 2 months away, but we miss it terribly. Few menu items.....

 2. Being crazy super excited for Lauren's Bachlorette PARTY this weekend in Chicago. Girls Night = Lots of Champs and crazyness.. cannot wait.

3. Really enjoying be back in running mode. I have run everyday this week.. although Monday I almost died in the 90 degree heat... note to self dont run outside in 82% humidity.

 

 

 

4. Realizing that life is precious and you need to live each day to the fullest. In the last week my family has suffered some sad lossed. My Uncle Bob was killed in a car crash while in Denver and my cousin's husband Tim died today from cancer. These 2 men have left behind a very broken family but together we are able to be there to support one another and help eachother through this tragic time.

-4th of July Hangover-

Next to my birthday and Christmas, 4th of July is just about my favorite day of the whole friggin year. Not only is it summertime and I get the day off work, but I usually get to spend it with all my favorite people drinking adult bevies and watching fireworks.

This year 4th of July landed in the middle of the week but since Friday we got off from work, I got a glorious 4 day weekend.

Started it off at SummerFest, seeing my main squeeze and hottest country star ever... LUKE BRYAN! Best. Concert. Ever.

I loved his openers, Florida Georgia Line & Thompson Square, they were great.. and Luke well.. favorite songs... all played.. lots of booty shaking. I was a happy girl. After that Kalen and I hit up downtown Milwaukee for some drinks before going back to the hotel.

Thursday  - went a little like this.....

4th OF JULY BEER OLYMPICS. TEAM AMERICA F@#% Yeah domination!!!!

 

I mean look at us. Total killer squad.. right?

 

We competed in Beer Pong (where I dominated), Flippy Cup, Bags, Wheel Barrow Races, and tie breaker Speed Pong.

We came in 2nd but i was super proud of us. Plus i got to wear my new Kiss My Southern Sass shirt.. which i love.

Friday - we golfed with some boys from work and again domination occurred. Who knew i was somewhat decent. i was just real excited to wear my adorable golf shoes ;)

Since we had such a good time on Friday, Saturday we golfed.. Again. I think I am hooked. I love it. Oh and we picked strawberries, which is 90 degree heat and humidity is hell. Ill stick to the grocery store for that :)

 

At least they tasted good.

 

Fun workouts are my favorite.

 

And that concludes the longest post ever. But seriously had such a blast this past weekend and I am ready for another 4 day weekend at the end of this month for Lo's weddding!!! EK. This coming weekend is her bachlorette party. and its gonna be a blast.
