Vacation Eve

First of all -

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS <3

 

This is a particularly good Friday because today is Vacation Eve, that's right - this time tomorrow I will be enjoying 70 degree temps and the beautiful California sunshine - I could not be more excited!!

So let's start this Friday off right - because then I'll be MIA til next week!

My birthday was Monday and it was great! I am so happy I got to celebrate with all my favorite people :)

My cake is so cute, my boss brought it in from a bakery in Chicago!

I love it, its so pretty :)

Did I mention I am going to LA? Well look at those temps!!! I mean anything is better than -55 right now, I cannot wait!!

Vacation means Pedicures with the roomie. I am so pale :(

My mom got me this for my Bday and its perfect!

If I ever workout again, I kid, but really, I will wear it!

Now back that azzzz up because in 8 hours I am on vacation!!!

Yesterday, I saw the cutest post from Forever Young the Blog and I thought I would use it today. I loved it and think it's so fun to learn more about bloggers we read every day, so here goes nothing.

27.

Today is my favorite day of the entire year.. ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Today I turn 27.

And I am pretty sure, it is going to be an amazing year.

This past weekend all my favorite people came up to Kenosha and partied hard with me at the bar(s).

They spoiled me, We drank, we danced, we stayed out til 2AM, which I haven't done in FOREVER.

815am Saturday. Best time to visit Target.

So peaceful.

All my pretty pretty presents. Thank you ladies - I love it all.

BIRTHDAY WEEKEND SOCIAL

Hellllllllllo Ladies!!! Happy Sunday - and Happy Bday Weekend to me. I finally decided to move from the couch after recovering most of the day from my amazing Bday party, and be productive on my blog.

This Week's Questions:

1. What is your favorite thing to watch on girls night?
During the week I love sitting on the couch with the roomie and a glass of wine and The Bachelor, although Juan Pablo has been a little boring. Movie wise I am all about romantic movies like The Notebook/Titanic. Classics of course!

2. What is your favorite thing to watch on days off?
I love clearing my DVR, usually with some Real Housewives of Anything!

3. What is your favorite thing to watch when your sick?
Usually throw in some FRIENDS DVDs - always the perfect sick day TV show.

4. What is the last movie you saw in the theatre?
Catching Fire? I think.... and it was amazing. Cannot wait for November for Part 2!!

5. Top 3 TV Shows?
Scandal, Greys Anatomy, and Hart of Dixie

This Week was a VERY good Week

So this week was pretty great for a number of reasons!! I only had to work for 2 days - thank you work Ski trip, my birthday is right around the corner and I went skiing for the first time ever.

So I am thrilled to share my 5 for the week:

-ONE-
The aforementioned ski trip. This is a charity event for one of our customers at work and it was amazing!! Mt Tremblant in Montreal is stunning and I ski'd down a freaking mountain. I am hooked and cannot wait to go back!

The views were stunning!!

My ski's look like baby skis compared to everyone else's.

- TWO-
I bought this awesome new luggage - I travel alot for work and dragging a duffel bag through O'Hare ain't cutting it. Enter Gordmans and this blush pink beauty!!

Oh and of course my Hunters - perfect for a Ski trip!

-THREE-
I spent last weekend snowmobiling with the family - I am all about winter sports this week - and it was fun. I forgot how peaceful and adventurous the north woods are. Can we go again.

Yes, I drive my own. Duh - and I have since I was little.

-FOUR-
This video of my dad redneck style opening wine - when in the north woods you better red-neckognize!

-FIVE-
Today marks the official start of my birthday weekend, I've got my friends coming tomorrow and lots of fun planned for this weekend :) Plus that means 1 week until I go to LA!!!!

Five Things this Week

Happy Friday Ladies and Gents!!! I am so over work already, and it's only 10am, and ready to head up north for my mini vaca!! Me and the familia are heading up north to the cabin for snowmobiling and I cannot wait - Lets do this work day!!

This week was busy busy but my Bday Month officially starts TOMORROW!!! Hello, Feb! And that means the traveling and fun times are coming up.

Here are my five for this week:

1 - The Bachelor Wedding - watched in on Sunday, cried like a baby, live tweeted like a champ. Overall, great show. And her dress was amaze.

 

 

2 - Starbucks, first time I have had a latte like a month and it was just as good as I remember. #skinnycinnamondolchelatteforthewin

 

 

3 - My upcoming Ski trip - heading to Mt Trembault with work and its gonna be great. It is also going to hurt real bad.

4 - This little man melted my heart this week. We were sitting at the dinner table when he looked up at me, grabbed my cheeks and kissed me. I love this kid so much, he is the sweetest.

 Also, when did he get so big, he is growing up sooooo fast!

I know he is not my kid, but I just adore him and his sassy sister.

 

5 - my new favorite jam ever for right now, promptly added to my snowmobile play list to rock on the trails. Nashville knocks out some real good stuff and I am loving all the new singles!!

This also counts as backing my azz up!

Dear Blog (and others)

I have no patience for anything today - I am tired and cold and really would rather be on vacation in LA (Only 16 more days!!!!) So the most random things I can think of is what this post is coming to - here goes nothing...

Dear Annoying Man in my Office, Why youfind it necessary to click you pens ALL DAMN DAY. Just one time, when you need to use the pen, please stop. I am going to lose it sir. Also stop saying sir. It is over kill.

Dear Polar Vortex, We get it, its cold. I am praying for 30 degrees and less snow. Dont get me wrong I like winter, but this is ridiculous, over 30 inches of snow and 18 negative days so far this winter, can we please get a break?

Dear Weekend, Please get here NOW. I want to be up north snowmobiling my days away and not worrying about work.

Dear Blog, Sorry this is so random but it is Wednesday... you cannot expect much.
