Weekend are for Work?

It's the 1st Monday of the November, which means.. absolutely nothing.. I had to work this weekend so to me.. it's just another day at The International Dairy show.. I know the excitement is just too much around here.

Although I hate having to work 4 of my last 7 weekend... I have gotten to travel to some pretty great places, and this weekend brings me to my favorite city in the entire world.. CHICAGO! And even though this amazing place is only about an hour and a fifteen minutes from home, I feel like I never visit so this is a treat!

Friday Night was a visit to Cesar's in Wrigleyville with my brother and his fabulous GF Lauren, we had such a blast.. and too much tequila - 3 pitchers to be exact! Did you know if you spend over $100 there you get free tequila shots? You do. We did. And they were good!

Flash forward to Saturday AM - like 7:30am - trade show set up. Lots of running around, which is not good on a hangover, especially a tequila one. But everything was set up and ready for the show! McDonalds PSL was a savior to me that morning.

Now the rest of my weekend was spent inside here - McCormick Place - it is like it's own little city.

Lots of customer visits & meetings and anything else we are asked to do.

And finally Sunday was spent here. One of my new favorite places in the city and a must if you visit. Kalen and I had drinks and fondue at Quartino in River North. Yum! A nice break from work and all.

Tonight we visit RPM (fingers crossed the Rancic's show up!!) and watching the Bears vs. Packers game. Let's pray for a Bears win.. because I cannot handle my Packer fan co-workers if they don't.
