This Weeks Questions:

1. Favorite Type of Workout to do? 

Mine is by far spinning. I usually spin about 5 days a week for 45 minutes a class. I love it, it is the best workout, I usually burn about 700 calories, and the class goes by so fast.

2. Favorite guilty pleasure sweet or candy?

Cookies. Growing up with an amazing baker like my mom, it was hard to say no to sweets. She bakes the best chocolate chip cookies, ever. I love them and could eat them all day.

3. What do you continuously forget to do?

Run errands that HAVE to be done. I am always down for a run to Target or somewhere fun, but when it comes to boring adult errands, I always 'forget'.

4. Post it's or iPhone reminders?

I HAVE to write everything down so I remember to do it. Which is why I spent $50 on an Erin Condren daily planner. I write everything in there so that I can get important stuff done. Work reminders go right to my phone from my work email which is nice.

5. What is one picture from your phone that makes you smile?

Babies, love them. They make me smile all the time :)

My week with Wrigley

Hey Y'all & Happy Wednesday. I am so pumped that tomorrow is my Friday and I get a 3 day weekend!! Holler. This is the first day off work since Christmas so I am so exciteddddd!

Since it's been a while, lets catch up ... Shall we?

1. March Madness - Love this time of year. I am not a huge basketball fan but I love college bball and filling out my bracket. As of today, I am losing by 2 points :( #ThanksalotGonzaga

2. My babies - they are adorable (and obviously not mine) and we went and saw the Easter Bunny, they were angels....but come on.. could they be cuter?? #1stEaster

3. Happy Hour with my co-workers. I had yet to go out after work since moving jobs, but we had such a good time. One of the Italian guys is going back for a while so he bought wine and i tried my first Merlot, it wasnt bad #Wino

4. I found this online and it made me laugh out loud at my desk. Since I love to abbrev. #Totes

5. And finally, while furniture shopping, these 2 lovebirds were 'trying out' a mattress. they were no joke asleep. Holding hands... #onlyinWisconsin

OKAY. MOVING ON.

This past week I have been dogsitting my aunt's adorable Wrigley pup while they are on vacation. I love this dog and am always up for some pup time since I have never had one.

We went on walks, snuggled on the couch (lol), and enjoyed the warm weather, isnt it terrible that 43 is warm right now... holler for 50's this weekend #springiscoming 

Speaking of puppysitting, I have learned that unless I am going to be home 24/7ish, I cannot own a dog. Everyday when I leave for work, she gives me these terribly sad puppy eyes and I feel guilty... ALL DAMN DAY. Seriously. Then, I rush home after work to make sure she gets time out of her cage. It's cray! I have even been getting up earlier then normal so that she has time out before I have to go to work. 

So as much as I want to cuddle these adorbs puppies...

I know it will just lead to guilt and possibly missing happy hours due to having to let the dogs out. Ridic right?? O welll.... 1 more day and i give her back. 

On a side note, little miss Kalen and I went condo shopping today and found one we like. Hopefully all will go well and in 1 month I will be moving into the apartment :)

Dear Spring... You're Drunk.

Dear Spring,

Have you been drinking? I understand that you are not as warm as your BFF summer but 18 degrees is unacceptable. Last year at this time it was 85 degrees and sunny. Today, there is snow on the ground, 25 MPH winds, and below zero morning windchills.

Brrrrr....

 

Yes, Tom knows whats up.Coldest Spring in 45 years. Not. Cool.

 

Hello!! You're doing it wrong. This is not what is suppose to go down. Let me enlighten you.... this is what spring is suppose to look like....

I mean even these temps look okay...

 

 

Love the Burberry Trench... but im poor :(

Better Right? I am suppose to be wearing adorbale trenches, floral patterns and dear I say short sleeves! But no, I am still running around in winter jackets, gloves, and rocking sweaters.

People tell me all the time to get over it because I have lived in the midwest my whole life and I should be use to it.. well guess what... I AM NOT. I want to be able to rock out to my new JT album with windows down and sunnies on. And what I would like most is to not have to blast my heat in the morning and start my car 10 minutes before I leave, because gas aint free my friends.

So Spring, put down the Hot Chocolate w/ whatever you have spiked in it and grab a glass of lemonade, you drunk. This is all wrong.

20/20 Experience Tuesday

Today is a big day for us N'SYNC generation girls! After 7 years of waiting... JT has released his new album... and ladies, IT IS GOOD!!!!

That's right, I totally pulled a 6th grade move and got my happy butt to Target on my lunch break and picked up my copy of this CD, with 2 bonus tracks, thank you very much.

I rocked that CD all the way back to work and let me tell you, I cannot wait to listen to it all the way home. I love his voice and he is a lyrical genius LOL. When 'Suit & Tie' came out I thought it was dumb, but now.. LOVES IT. And he just has a way with words.

This is the first non-country CD I have bought in forever and loved. I mean Luke Bryan is amazing but this is JT.

PLUS, it made me really sad today when I went to google and typed in justin.. and look what happens.....

THIS IS NOT COOL. We cannot let that hack Justin Beiber take out our boy.

Now I realize this post is completley dramatic and ridiculous, but I dont care. I love JT and always have.. even with his neon clothes and terrible hair.

 

 



Because we all remember that JT grew up and DAYYYYYYYUM....

 

Ok, I am done.

Friday... Holler... Friday

Ladies, today is my favorite day of the work week. Friday :) I love this day, everyone usually is nicer, people bring in donuts, and the mood in the office is lighter..

Well that may all be true at your office but here people are super busy and a little sassy this Friday. I mean come on guys, its the weekend, and St. Patty's Day weekend at that.

St. Patrick's Day is like my 3rd favorite holiday, I loves it. Being 100% IRISH probably helps but for reals, you dress up, day drink with your favs, and celebrate my people. Best day ever, especially nice when winter is hard and the last holiday was Valentines Day, and we all know how I feel about that.

Any who, Chicago brings out the best for St. Patty and we all know how to party. While Saturday is the big day around here including Parades, Bar Crawls, and River Dying in Chicago, I will be partying it up on the real day, Sunday 03/17. Saturday will be spent with my favorite babies.. good planning right?

 

 

 

 

But I am not worried at all. I will be having Sunday Funday in Wrigley with my girl Kalen & I am sure we can find just as much crazy trouble in Wrigley on Sunday as we can Saturday. Were gonna brunch, drink booze, and look for some HOTTIES. I mean Irish looks good on everyone.

Weekend, eh Last Week Update

Friday night I drove with my besties to Chicago to see Bye Bye Liver, an interactive drinking play in Wrigleyville, this did not disapoint. The show was hilarious, and too true, and the whole thing was one big drinking game. I highly recommend it :)

We were up until 4am, which for us old balls 26 year olds is late. So the next morning I peeled myself off the couch and drove home to do adult things, like grocery shop.

Sunday I spent the day chilling and nursing a ridiculous sore throat, maybe too many fireball shots, maybe not.....

Found this adorable pic of 'Kelly Kapowski', look at those bangs, I think I want them....

And speaking of adorbs, Alexis Kate was rocking the adorable tutu dress I got her, Could you just die?

Oh and I did get my lazy booty out of bed and ran an 8K, practice for the Shamrock Shuffle. 45 minutes, mean about a 9 minute mile. Super Pumped. And running outside makes me happy!

But it's Monday which means work and boring things..... But something super exciting is happening there soon... right Kalen?? More details to come.... 

Boston is booked, T-minus 4 weeks til I get to be there and explore the city.. oh and work a little ;)
